Prof Utpal Sharma, Director, Institute of Architecture & Planning received the ?Rashtriya Shiksha Samman Puraskar? from Intellectual Peoples Foundation on Feb 18, 2021 in recognition of his outstanding contribution in the field of education and for the progress of the nation.
Dr A M Lakdawala, Associate Professor and, Dr D S Upadhyay, Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Institute of Technology, Nirma University are selected for Best Research Scientist for their overall contribution in all activities of Research. They received Rs 35,000 cash award for this achievement from Nirma University.
Prof Digesh Joshi, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering Department, Institute of Technology has won the Best Assistant Professor of the Institute for Overall Performance for the year 2019-20. Prof Joshi was honored with a cash award of Rs 40,000.
Dr Sudeep Tanwar, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Institute of Technology has been appointed as an Associate Editor/Member of Editorial Board in Physical Communication (PHYCOM), Elsevier (SCI, IF: 1.594), Computer Communications (COMCOM), Elsevier (SCI, IF: 2.816, Q1). Dr Tanwar is also appointed as an Associate Editor in the Board of Blockchain Technologies (section of Frontiers in Blockchain), and in Physical Communication (PHYCOM, Impact Factor 1.594, SCI indexed).
