Ms Shristi Verma, an alumna of the Institute of Law, currently working as a Law Clerk cum Research Associate to Hon’ble Mr Justice N Kotiswar Singh, Judge, Supreme Court of India, has authored the book titled ‘Complete Guide to Supreme Court Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate Exam, 2026-2027’ published by Whitesmann Publishing, released on February 22, 2026.

• Ms Divya Shah, an alumna of the Institute of Management, Executive and Leadership Coach conducted a session on ‘Coaching for Career Growth’ on January 12, 2026. She highlighted the importance of developing the right mindset while nurturing individual career goals through the power of intuition.

• Mr Kaushal Shah, an alumnus of the Institute of Management, SAP Integration Leadand Enterprise Technology Professional conducted a session on ‘Digital Transformation’ on January 12, 2026. The session focused on large-scale digital transformation initiatives across global organisations, drawing insights from sectors such as automotive, retail, utilities, public services, and manufacturing.
• Mr Kunj Vyas, an alumnus of Institute of Pharmacy, and Doctoral Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at Long Island University conducted a session on ‘Fundamentals of Pharmacokinetics’ on January 19, 2026.
• Mr Ravi Ukawala, an alumnus of Institute of Pharmacy, and Project Manager, Resource Global Professionals, Elida Beauty conducted a session on ‘Inside the Beauty Pipeline: From Lab to Launch’ on January 20, 2026.
• Ms Khushboo Jodhani, an alumna of the Institute of Design, Product Designer at Amazon Music conducted a session on ‘Product Design Career Journey & Industry Insights’ onJanuary 22, 2026.
• Dr Nikum Sitwala, an alumnus of the Institute of Pharmacy, and Senior Research Scientist at Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc conducted an online session on ‘Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC): Role in Monitoring Chemical Reactions & Organic Synthesis’ on February 16, 2026.
• Ms Krushangi Shah, an alumna of the Institute of Pharmacy, Senior Scientist (Preclinical Research) at Metagenomi Therapeutics, California, USA delivered an online session on ‘From Pharmacology to Gene Editing: My Journey to Next-Gen Precision Medicine’ on March 16, 2026. Her talk highlighted the transition from traditional pharmacology to advanced gene-editing technologies in modern therapeutics. The session emphasized the integration of molecular biology, genomics, and drug discovery in developing targeted treatments.

Talk show ‘Setu-Bridging Gaps between Generations’ 

The Department of Chemical Engineering organised an alumni talk show ‘Setu-Bridging Gaps between Generations’ on January 8, 2026.

Mr Ronak Shah, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Founding Partner at 11H Advisors, a SEBI-registered Category III Alternative Investment Fund, offered a distinctive perspective on transitioning from chemical engineering to the field of finance and investment management.

Mr Swapnil Singh, currently working as Assistant Manager – Sales & Business Development at Matangi Industries LLP, discussed opportunities in chemical sales, business development, and international markets.

Mr Suvikram, Manager at GSFC Ltd, Vadodara shared insights on the importance of strong fundamentals, process knowledge, and adaptability while working in large-scale industries.

Alumni-Student Interaction at the Institute of Architecture & Planning 

As part of Kalp ’26, an interaction session was hosted by the Institute of Architecture & Planning on February 23, 2026 bringing together seven distinguished alumni and 70 student participants for a session focused on networking, mentorship, and career trajectories, effectively bridging the gap between academia and diverse professional practices.

The invited speakers highlighted the versatility of an architectural degree by sharing their unique professional journeys. Representing the creative and cinematic sectors, Ms Yashvi Talati (Batch 2020), an Art Director in Gujarati cinema, explained how her undergraduate thesis allowed her to apply architectural scale to film set design across multiple feature films. Similarly, Mr Rushi Maisuria (Batch 2020), who interned at Malik Architecture, discussed his strategic pivot to large-scale public urban design and shared insights from his role as a student placement coordinator.

In the realm of global practice and cutting-edge technology, Ms Kailshree Gadani (Batch 2017) shared insights into advanced digital workflows following her Master’s in Robotic Fabrication from IAAC, Barcelona, while Ms Sneha Bhut (Batch 2017), currently practicing at a leading architectural firm in Australia, emphasised the long-term value of faculty mentorship and international upskilling.

The commercial and corporate sectors were well-represented by Mr Hemil Ganatra (Batch 2016), Mr Ajay Dhorajiya (Batch 2020), and Ms Kriti Khandelwal (Batch 2018). Mr Hemil Ganatra discussed modular construction and real estate modeling, demonstrating how his thesis on the ‘MOD ROOF’ system translated directly into industry practice. Mr Ajay Dhorajiya shared technical expertise on high-rise developments and complex façade treatments based on his current work on one of Ahmedabad’s tallest towers at Apoorva Amin Architects. Ms Kriti Khandelwal recalled fond academic memories and highlighted the strength of institutional training, which helped her secure a direct campus placement into the FMCG department at Larsen & Toubro (L&T).
