Class of 2022
Associate Product Designer at Gainsight

To begin this with, I never imagined writing this, but I am super grateful to be given this opportunity to share my experience of my placement process with Gainsight. Well the job hunting process has never been easy, roadblocks are more than one can imagine, sometimes the only way out is to face the struggle, good news is being your own honest self helps.

As I sit back and think about how I landed up here , one thing that sets me apart is this constant belief in myself. Which is partially who I am , and partially what these 4 years made me with constant support of parents, faculties and peers.

I have a deep sense of gratitude towards my faculty members, for bringing this wonderful opportunity and their assertive help at every stage of this lengthy and anxious process.

Your belief gets stronger when someone has your back and that is Institute of Design, Nirma university is to me, a bunch of people pushing me and kept me and my peers going through every nightmare and daydream.

To add, placement department of the Institute of Design especially Ms Harjeet Kaur played an efficient role in this process starting from bringing in these amazing companies to providing guidance at each phase of placement round which made the whole process less stressful and hassle free.

What’s next? Probably I don’t know, I just feel right in the middle of my path of being a responsible designer, looking back to how far I have come and looking ahead to how long I have to go. What I know is now I have my reason to get back up when world beats me down.
