Institute of Architecture and Planning, Nirma University received the ?Most Promising Architecture College? of the Year 2021 in the category ?Quality education and leading infrastructure? at the Architecture and Interior Design Excellence Awards & Conference 2021 held on Feb 26, 2021. Prof Utpal Sharma, Director, IAPNU received the award at the award ceremony held in Bengaluru.
MoU with National Forensic Sciences University
Nirma University signed an MoU with the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) on Feb 26, 2021. The chief objective of the MoU is to establish a framework for research collaboration activities and enhance the academic and research interaction between both the universities. The online event saw the presence of Shri KK Patel, Vice President; Dr Anup K Singh, Director General; and Dr PN Tekwani, Director- DRI, Nirma University. Dr JM Vyas, Vice-Chancellor; and Dr SO Junare, Director, Gandhinagar campus were present from the National Forensic Sciences University.
MoU with eInfochips, Ahmedabad
Institute of Technology, Nirma University signed an MoU with eInfochips, Ahmedabad on Feb 18, 2021. The chief objective of the MoU is to mutually co-operate in the exchange of knowledge and information in the areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering, VLSI Design & Testing, Embedded System Design, Biomedical, Aerospace, Automation, Software Systems; organise skill development workshops and training programmes for students, faculty members and professionals; Facilitate student internship, industrial visits and industrial training; Promote the exchange of knowledge; Conduct technology advancement seminars, conferences, symposium, and Encourage joint research for the society, community, and industrial needs.
Establishment of Authorised Training Centre at Institute of Technology
Mitsubishi Electric India Pvt Ltd has set up an Authorised Training Centre at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University for its factory automation and Industrial division?s products. The Centre was launched online on March 16, 2021. The two organisations have an active MoU since 2014.
