Awards & Achievements

Nirma University awarded with NAAC A+ grade

The Nirma University has been re-accredited with an ‘A+’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the third cycle of re-accreditation on April 5, 2022. The assessment work was conducted as a part of NAAC’s periodic evaluation of the higher education institutes and to promote quality teaching, research, and learning in the higher education institutions across the country. The accreditation is according to the revised A&A framework which was introduced by NAAC in July 2017. Among private universities, Nirma University is the only one to receive an A+ grade in the state of Gujarat until April 2022. The grade is valid for the coming five years.

 

 

 

25th ISTE Gujarat State Convention Awards

Institute of Technology, Nirma University received three awards at the 25th ISTE Gujarat State Convention Awards Ceremony 2020 organised on April 29, 2022 at BVM Engineering College, Vallabh Vidhyanagar, Gujarat.
The institute received the award for the following categories:

  • Shri Pravin Kaka Ratilal Maniar “Best Knowledge Centre (Library) Award for the Year 2020” to Library, Institute of Technology, Nirma University. The State Award, under the banner of the Indian Society for Technical Education (Gujarat Section) was presented by Dr P K Desai, President ISTE, New Delhi.
  • Dr Darshit Upadhyay, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department, Nirma University is awarded the ISTE GUJ-M C Bhavsar Award for “Innovative work in the areas of Renewable Energy”.
  • Institute of Technology, Nirma University received the ISTE-HJD Institute, Kutch-Award for the “Best Institute for Contributing in Social Activities”.

MoUs

MoU with WIN Foundation and Arid Communities & Technology

Institute of Design, Nirma University signed an MoU with WIN Foundation – India, and Arid Communities & Technologies, Kutch on Feb 16, 2022. This MoU aims to jointly explore projects, programmes, and activities towards the achievement of the core objectives; work on social service-related activities; support innovations for social impact through joint evaluation of startup support opportunities, joint programmes, activities, events, promoting innovation and startups in the listed domains, and joint publicity of each other’s activities, to name a few.
