The Institute of Science Alumni Association organised an Alumni Talk on April 17, 2021. On this occasion, Dr Hardik Patel (MSc & PhD in 2018), currently working as a Post-doctoral Scientist at Seattle Children?s Hospital, Washington USA delivered a talk on ?The impact of blood-stage malaria infection on GAP vaccine mediated pre-erythrocytic stage immunity?. Mr Dhavan Sharma (MSc in 2016), currently pursuing PhD at the Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering Lab, Texas A&M University, USA, delivered a talk on ?Development of completely biological, immune compatible and biomimetic 3D pre-vascularised tissue constructs?. Mr Yahwant Wakade (MSc in 2007), currently Central Data Scientist, PRA Health Sciences, Hyderabad shared his experience on the current scenario of the clinical research industry and gave a talk on ?Education to Profession: Decision by interest?. Ms Swathi Nair (MSc in 2013), currently working as a Senior sub-editor at Reuters, Bangalore, delivered a talk on ?Journalism after MSc.?
