Ms Priyanshi Mehta, an alumna of the MPharm programme, batch of 2021, specialising in Pharmaceutical Analysis from the Institute of Pharmacy, is a shining example of the innovation fostered at Nirma Incubation Centre. A year ago, her startup idea, ‘THE Hऋतु CONCEPT’, was brought to life through the comprehensive support provided by the Nirma University Incubation Centre. The Incubation Centre, with its latest infrastructure, financial assistance, and expert mentorship, enabled Ms Mehta to develop her vision into a thriving venture. Hurun India under 35s List

Nirma University’s Computer Science and Engineering alumnus, Mr Dhruvil Sanghvi, has been recognised in the prestigious Hurun India under 35s list, 2024 edition. The list, which honours 150 of the most promising young entrepreneurs, showcases individuals under 35 who are shaping India’s economic future. Mr Dhruvil Sanghvi, Founder and CEO of LogiNext, has been highlighted for his leadership in logistics automation and his role in driving significant growth within the industry.

Under his leadership, LogiNext has experienced a tenfold increase in revenue in recent years, positioning itself as a key player in last-mile technology. The company’s AI-powered platform has enhanced the efficiency of supply chain operations for more than 200 leading businesses, including global giants like Nestle and Walmart, with innovative route planning solutions and improved customer experience.

Visionary Entrepreneur Award

Mr Ronak Chiripal, an alumnus of the Computer Science and Engineering Department, Institute of Technology (Batch of 2007-11), has been recognised with the prestigious Times Gujarat Icons 2024 award for Visionary Entrepreneur. The award was presented by Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi at a ceremony held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Ahmedabad during October 2024.

 

 

 

Alumni Association Meets

Mumbai Chapter Alumni Meet 2024

The Campus Recruitment Cell in collaboration with Nirma University Institute of Law Alumni Association (NUILAA) hosted the Alumni City Meet – Mumbai Chapter on Sep 21, 2024 at Lucy Lou, Andheri East. The meet was attended by 68 alumni from different batches along with Prof Nitesh Chaudhary, Assistant Professor; Dr Amit Kumar Kashyap, Assistant Professor; and Mr Aman Anand, Manager-Corporate Relations, Institute of Law, Nirma University.

 

Mumbai Chapter Meet of Institute of Pharmacy

Institute of Pharmacy Nirma University Alumni Association (IPNUAA) hosted the Mumbai Chapter Alumni Meet at The Sai Palace, Andheri (East) on Oct 16, 2024. Seventeen alumni members from diverse fields and organisations, such as Abbott, Glenmark, FDC, Macleods Pharma, Marico, Edence Life Sciences, NMIMS, and Ajanta Pharma, attended the event. The event was led by Dr Dhaivat Parikh, Vice President, IPNUAA, who facilitated meaningful connections and highlighted the vibrant spirit of the alumni community. The event provided an excellent networking opportunity for professionals across Mumbai, opening doors to potential collaborations in the future.

 

Lucknow Chapter Meet of Institute of Law

Campus Recruitment Cell, Institute of Law, Nirma University in collaboration with Nirma University Institute of Law Alumni Association (NUILAA) hosted Alumni City Meet – Lucknow Chapter on Oct 18, 2024 at Awadh’s Dastarkhwan in Lucknow. The meet was attended by 10 alumni from different batches along with Mr Nitesh Chaudhary, and Dr Arpit Sharma, Assistant Professors, Institute of Law.

  • Mr Parindu Bhagat, a practitioner and an alumnus of Institute of Law gave a guest lecture on ‘Exploring the right to know: Transparency Access and Accountability on Electoral Matter’ on Sep 17, 2024.
  • Mr Ravinder Prajapati and Mr Uday Bundeliya, alumni of the Institute of Pharmacy gave a talk on ‘Career Opportunities: Road Map from GPAT to IIT and NIPER’ and shared their experiences and offered valuable guidance on navigating career paths in the pharmaceutical field on Oct 10, 2024.
  • Mr Ronith Joy, an alumnus of the Institute of Law, and legal expert specialising in arbitration conducted an online session on ‘Negotiable Instruments’ on Oct 11, 2024. Mr Joy discussed key aspects, including promissory notes, bills of exchange, and cheques, among others.
  • Advocate Aum Kotwal, an alumnus of the Institute of Law conducted a session on ‘Right to Information: Understanding, Procedure, and Drafting’ on Oct 19, 2024.
  • Ms Karmani Shah, an alumna of the Institute of Pharmacy, and currently serving as Executive in the QA Department at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Vadodara, delivered an insightful talk on ‘Medicinal Chemistry Approaches of Diuretics as Anti-Hypertensive Agents’ on Oct 22, 2024.
  • Dr Manish Sharma, Pharmacokinetic Research Associate at Charles River Laboratories, Michigan, USA delivered a lecture for the postgraduate students at the Institute of Pharmacy on ‘Characterization of Degradation Products, Metabolites, Preclinical ADME, and Pharmacokinetics Study of Small Molecules using LC-MS/MS’ on Dec 4, 2024.
  • Ms Sristi Gautam, an advocate at the London Holistic Advocacy Wrap Around Service under the NIA Project, and an alumna of the Institute of Law conducted an online session on ‘Law School Journey’ for 1st year students on Dec 20, 2024.
  • Mr Yash Sampat, an independent lawyer and an alumnus of the Institute of Law shared his insights in an online session on ‘Importance of Trial Court Internship’ with first and second-year students on Dec 27, 2024.
