Achievements

Gold Medal for Excellence in National Service 

Mr Dushyant Bheda, IRS (BTech Mechanical Engineering, Class of 2014), was conferred with a Gold Medal for Excellence in National Service at the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Nagpur, in April 2026. Mr Bheda received the Gold Medal from the Honourable President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, during the valedictory ceremony for the 78^th batch of Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers.

• Ms Ashruti Jadvani, Scientific Inside Sales Representative,Stemcell Technologies, Canada, and an alumna of the Institute of Pharmacy, delivered an online talk on ‘Bridging Classical rDNA Concepts with Next-Generation Therapies: The Case of CAR-T Cells’ on April 2, 2026.
• Mr Ankit Gotecha, Owner & Pharmacist, Care First Pharmacy, Ahmedabad, and an alumnus of the Institute of Pharmacy, delivered a talk on ‘An Overview of Excipients Used for Semisolid Dosage Forms’ on April 3, 2026.
• Mr Vimal Sheoran, Machine Learning Engineer-2, Infocusp Innovations, and an alumnus of the Institute of Technology, conducted an expert session on ‘Advanced Deep Learning Concepts’ on April 2, 2026. He shared insights into advanced deep learning concepts, industry practices, real-world applications and career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Dr Bhakti Tanna, Director, Pharmacovigilance & Medical Writing, Bosker Medico Services Pvt Ltd, Ahmedabad, and an alumna of the Institute of Pharmacy, conducted a session on ‘Vigilance Aspects in Nutraceuticals and Food Supplements’ on June 5, 2026.

• Mr Chintan Modi, Assistant Director (Chemistry Group), Directorate of Forensic Science, Gandhinagar, and an alumnus of the Institute of Pharmacy, conducted a session on ‘Scope of Analytical Chemistry in Forensic Science’ on June 10, 2026.
