NIRF Ranking 2025
Under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025, announced by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in September 2025, Nirma University secured ranking in the rank band of 101-150 in both the University and Engineering categories. It achieved a 53rd rank in Management, 32nd rank in Pharmacy, 29th rank in Architecture, and 33rd rank in Law.
Institute of Law Ranked 17th in India Today Annual Rankings-2025
The Institute of Law has been ranked 17th at the national level in the India Today – MDRA Annual Rankings 2025, announced in July 2025.
MoUs
MoU with Indian Air Force
Nirma University signed an MoU with the Indian Air Force during the ‘Tri Services Academia Technology Symposium’ held at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi on September 22-23, 2025. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Dr Anup K Singh, Director General, Nirma University, and Dr P N Tekwani, Director, DRI, Nirma University. The MoU is aimed particularly for research activities to be undertaken by the students and faculty members of the Nirma University in accordance with the field requirements of Indian Air Force.
MoU with University of Cincinnati
Nirma University signed an MoU with the University of Cincinnati, USA, on November 18, 2025, to offer dual degree programmes in Engineering, Pharmacy, and Business. This partnership aims to enhance global academic exposure and collaborative opportunities for students and faculty of both the institutions. The MoU was signed by both presidents, Dr Karsanbhai K Patel on behalf of Nirma University and Dr Neville Pinto representing the University of Cincinnati. This collaboration will support joint research, academic exchanges, and international engagement initiatives between the two universities.
