Awards and Achievements

• Three faculty members from the Institute of Pharmacy, Dr Mayur M Patel, Dr Snehal Patel, and Dr Jigar N Shah, were included in Stanford’s list of the World’s Top 2% Scientists released on Sep 19, 2024.

• Prof Poonam Chhaniwal and Prof G Haritha from the Institute of Management received the first prize for a primary case study titled ‘Circularity and Sustainability in Action: The Recykal Way’ at two case study competitions; National Case Study Competition organised by the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), New Delhi on Oct 8, 2024, and FIIB Research Conference, New Delhi held on Oct 14, 2024. The award was conferred by Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, the Honorable Vice President of India, and Mr Surendra Nath Tripathi, DG, IIPA on Nov 4, 2024.

• Dr Snehal Patel, Associate Professor, Institute of Pharmacy was awarded the RSDDI Emcure Women Diabetologist Award for her outstanding contributions and ground-breaking work in the field of diabetes on Oct 23, 2024.

• Dr Tejas Dhameliya, Assistant Professor, Institute of Pharmacy received the ‘Young Scientist Award’ at the International Conference on Natural and Health Sciences 2024 (TTNHS-2024), organised by the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda from Dec 4-6, 2024. This recognition celebrates ground-breaking work on anti-malarial agents, contributing to innovative solutions in the fight against malaria and advancing health sciences globally.
