Establishment of Dr Jaimin Vasa Chair at the Institute of Management 
Dr Jaimin Vasa Foundation has established the ‘Dr Jaimin Vasa Chair in Business Management and Entrepreneurship’ at the Institute of Management, Nirma University, with a focus on fostering cutting-edge research and academic excellence in the field.

Book Launch
Nirma University had the privilege of hosting Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister, Government of India, who launched the book ‘Amrit Kaal Odyssey (Bharat ka Amrit Kaal)’ alongside authors Rangam Trivedi and Vaidyanathan Iyer on March 12, 2024. Among esteemed guests were Dr Karsanbhai K Patel, President; Shri K K Patel, Vice President; Dr Anup K Singh, Director General and Mr G Ramachandran Nair, Executive Registrar, Nirma University.

MoUs
MoU with the Indian Air Force
To enhance technical expertise and promote mutually beneficial knowledge sharing, an MoU was signed between the Indian Air Force, 17 TETTRA School, Vadodara, and Nirma University on Jan 25, 2024. Shri N Kishore (Commanding Officer of the Indian Air Force) and Dr Anup K Singh (Director General, Nirma University) signed the MoU in the presence of other dignitaries from both the organisations. This MoU will facilitate BTech, MTech, and PhD students from Nirma University to undertake internships at the Indian Air Force, 17 TETTRA School, Vadodara, focusing on various technical projects and research and development in emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Data Processing, Deep Learning, Cryptography, Network Systems, AR/VR, Security, Blockchain, etc.

MoU with Satt Engineering Ltd, Canada
School of Technology, Nirma University signed an MoU with Satt Engineering Ltd, Canada on April 12, 2024. Signed by Mr Snehal Patel, CEO of Satt Engineering Ltd and Dr Himanshu Soni, Director of the School of Technology; other dignitaries present during the ceremony included Mr Joachim Rocha and Ms Jeena George, Trade Commissioners of Canada; Dr Anup K Singh, Director General and Dr Rajesh N Patel, Director – School of Engineering, Nirma University. This collaboration aims to provide opportunities for students and undertake research projects in automation and structural design.

MoU with Adani Solar
Nirma University and Adani Solar signed an MoU on May 29, 2024 establishing a pioneering collaboration aimed at enhancing training and development in the solar energy sector. This strategic partnership will provide specialised training to the Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) of Adani Solar, equipping them with the advanced knowledge and practical expertise necessary for excelling in the renewable energy industry. Mr Anil Dixit, Head of HR at Adani Solar and Dr R N Patel, Director of the School of Engineering, Nirma University signed the MoU.
